In ARCH 206 we were assigned the Schob nature preserve owned by Texas A&M as a site to delve deep into analysis with as our first assignment. A large part of the learning process in this studio so far is heavy site analysis, which in turn seems to bring better, more sustainable, and functional projects. This project was a three story building with an exhibition space on the first floor, a café with seating on the second floor, and a private office or studio space on the third floor. A small charrette organized to demonstrate skill level within the studio before selecting partners for a final project.
